What does the future hold for Inkjet Technology?

Cambridge, UK, 19 September, 2012:

IMI Europe 20th European Ink Jet Conference
7-9 November, 2012
Avenida Palace Hotel, Barcelona, Spain

Since it's inception 20 years ago the European Ink Jet Conference has been the forefront meeting place for leaders of the industry.

This year presenters from IT Strategies, InfoTrends, Landa Digital, Graph-Tech, Delphax and Kodak will update and analyse the Drupa announcements.  The emergence of graphics and industrial inkjet in China and India is the focus of a talk by Qudos Digital and Human Digital.

There is a focus on new printhead developments with speakers from Kyocera, Ricoh, Fujifilm Dimatix and Konica Minolta.  Fujifilm Imaging Colorants will discuss the re-emergence of interest in aqueous-based inks, and Eckart the arrival of ink jet metallics.

Xennia, Cyan Tec, Global Inkjet Systems, Mankiewicz and adphos will cover different aspects of industrial printing.  There have been several acquisitions in the industry recently, with one of the instigators, Proximus, giving advice on how to buy and sell companies.  And the future?  Pivotal Resources will offer a view of the future technologies based on ink jet patents.

Mike Willis, Managing Director of IMI Europe Ltd comments; “For the past 19 years this event has proven to be very successful. This year’s line-up includes many new conference speakers and, we hope, will attract new delegates to this exciting event.”
