IMI Europe announces keynote presentations for the Industrial Inkjet Technology Showcase, 24-25 June 2015, Munich

Cambridge, 15 April 2015 – IMI Europe is pleased to announce three top industry executives as keynote speakers for the Industrial Inkjet Technology Showcase to be held at the Angelo Hotel, Munich Westpark in Munich, Germany on 24–25 June 2015. Talks from Mark Hanley, IT Strategies, Jason Oliver, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and Dr Ingo Ederer, Voxeljet AG give an excellent update on the state of the industry.

Mark Hanley, President, IT Strategies

With industrial inkjet markets growing rapidly, Mark Hanley will discuss the challenges faced by industrial markets, like packaging and how textiles and ceramics are set to inspire confidence within the industry – subjects/topics that have posed a lot of questions amongst industry professionals.

Jason Oliver, Senior VP Digital, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen

Digital product decoration is the topic from Jason Oliver, who will describe what Heidelberg calls 4D printing.  He will review both consumer and industrial product decoration and the current challenges and opportunities that they offer.

Dr Ingo Ederer, CEO, Voxeljet AG

With 3D printing becoming a serious manufacturing process, Dr Ederer will give an update of the implementation of high-speed printers and on-demand parts services for automotive, aerospace, film and entertainment, art and architecture, engineering and consumer end product markets.

About the Industrial Inkjet Technology Showcase

Organised by IMI Europe and supported by organisers of the InPrint Show, the Industrial Inkjet Technology Showcase will provide over 30 presentations during 2 days, as well as lunches, breaks and receptions giving plenty of networking opportunities with industry peers in the exhibitor’s display area.  The programme will be announced on our website at the end of March.  Immediately before the Showcase will be the Inkjet Summer School 2015, 22-23 June, consisting of three of IMI Europe’s most popular inkjet courses; Inkjet Academy, Inkjet Ink Manufacturing and Jetting Functional Fluids.

Jason has been working in the digital print industry for 20 years.  Previously, he worked at EFI as Senior Director of Jetrion sales. A US citizen with a Master of Business Administration, Jason has held numerous executive positions for various North American and European digital printing companies since 2000.

Dr. Ingo Ederer (born 1967) is not only the key inventor of Voxeljet’s technology but also one of the business founders.
